Does Abdul Basit build long-term content strategies for brands?
Yes. For brands that want an ongoing partner, he studies the brand, its market and its competitors, sets the brand identity and goals, and builds a content strategy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube. He then produces the content and runs it together with Meta ads. His long-term work includes New Yorker Pizza, Prime BPO, MedAlert and Digikhata.
What makes his approach to brand content different?
He combines a filmmaker’s craft with marketing and data analysis. Strategy, production and Meta ads performance run as one system, and he studies the analytics continuously to improve the strategy, so each round of content builds on what worked before. Brands get strategy, film-quality content and performance marketing from one person instead of coordinating separate vendors.
Can Abdul Basit shoot documentaries in remote parts of Pakistan?
Yes. He has shot in every province of Pakistan, including remote locations such as Rajanpur, Mithi, Khaplu, Landi Kotal, Waziristan, Pishin and Gwadar, in Sindhi, Pashto, Siraiki, Punjabi, Balti, Pothwari, Balochi, Hindko, Urdu and English. A female team member travels with the crew to work with women and children, with their consent, which earns the trust of local communities. He researches the story with the client first, spends two to three days in each location and delivers a first cut with licensed music in about two to three weeks.
Is he available for international projects?
Yes. He has worked with agencies abroad, including Heehaw (UK), for whom he directed the Dubai sequences of a WHO and Qatar Health Ministry film, and Elham Productions (Saudi Arabia), for a corporate film for Comcept.
